Rotary Global Swimanthon: 23rd February 2013: This is an unique opportunity to raise funds to finally eradicate Polio, raise the profile of Rotary and Rotaract in our Community, encourage people to swim for health and fitness and be part of the world’s biggest 1 day swimming event. 2012 was a BIG success for our club and we would like to make it even bigger this year. Please pledge your support (by responding to this email) in taking part organising this event. We will communicate further details in our next meeting.
Charity & Birthday Gala: We will be celebrating our club’s 35th birthday and our sponsoring Rotary club’s 65th. So it’s a big year for both of our clubs and we want to make it a year to remember for Rotarians and Rotaractors!

Project – KidsBuild: This is Thomas’ brainchild in promoting Engineering Education in the UK. We are optimistic that is going to be a really big and an exciting project to work, especially for those of you that are interested in the fields of engineering and youth education. Rotaract European Meeting (REM): 17th-19th January 2013. Timisoara,Romania. Third round of registration is due to open on 24th of November. Five of us have already registered for this trip. If you would like to join us and need more information, please visit this link.
European Rotaract Conference (EUCO): 29 May – 02 June 2013.Rome, Italy. This is the biggest and boldest European Rotaract event of the year. Quite a few of us are hoping to attend this event, so if you are free during that time of the year, you are WELL RECOMMENDED to attend this event. Registration opens on 25th of November and from past experience will not last for more than few hours (due to high demand). More information can be foundhere.
Rotary Global Peace Forum: 25th-27th January 2013. Honolulu, Hawaii. It has been announced that Aung San Suu Kyi will be joining the Rotary Global Peace Forum as the keynote speaker, on Saturday, 26th January 2013. Full details can be found here.
